Pink Salt Water Sole: Hydrate From the Inside Out
Why You Should Be Drinking Pink Salt Water Sole…
Like fashion designer Lauren Conrad, I myself used to avoid too much salt because of the idea that salt in excess can be bad for your health and cause unwanted bloating (no thank you!). However, after discovering pink salt water sole, I completely changed my mind and swear by this drink. Here is why you should be drinking it too.
Aside from oozing IG pic aesthetics, pink salt water sole has so many good for you benefits! Made from coconut water, it helps hydrate your body from the inside out, while packing an array of beauty benefits such as fighting the appearance of wrinkles, promoting collagen production, and giving you healthy glowing skin. Since hydration reaches all the way to your cells, coconut water can also aid your hair health (yay for brows and lashes!) by promoting cell growth.
With traces of minerals like calcium, potassium, and magnesium, pink Himalayan salt is used in this drink to provide you with anti-inflammatory properties that benefit your skin. You can say goodbye to skin irritation and breakouts, as the pink salt can help soothe your skin, while locking in moisture and giving you that sun-kissed glowing skin.
Let’s talk about detoxing. Essentially, it’s the process of removing toxins and the pink salt in sole water does just that for your body. It also contains electrolytes, that will basically become your kidneys BFFS, which help regulate your body’s water levels.
Therefore, if you lead an active lifestyle, drinking sole water can benefit you during your workouts by keeping you extra hydrated.
Here’s how to make your very own pink salt water sole at home:
Step 1: Fill your resealable glass with a 1/4 teaspoon or a quarter of the jar with pink Himalayan salt
Step 2: Pour in your coconut water, making sure to leave a bit of space at the top (you may need to add a bit more salt later)
Step 3: Seal and shake your jar gently to combine the water + salt and let it sit overnight while the salt dissolves.
Step 4: After letting it sit overnight, you should be able to see grains of undissolved salt in your jar - this means your good to go! If you find that all of the salt dissolved, add more salt.
Step 5: Fill a glass with filtered water in the morning and add up to 1 teaspoon of your pink salt water and enjoy all of the health and beauty benefits it has to offer!
P.S This isn’t just a summer drink - stay hydrated all year long with your sole water. Your skin, hair, brows, and lashes will thank you.
